i'm 37 weeks & i've had painful tightening around the lower stomach, i think it's braxton hicks but can't help wishing they were contractions lol. so desperate to meet my daughter now. i've planned to go swimming in the morning as it's recommended, don't know how bad i'll look in a swimming costume though, dread to think! and i also couldn't ask for a better husband, he has been amazing throughout my pregnancy and right now he's making me a cuppa :) i think he's almost as excited as me to meet lo. anyway enough babbling on, how is everyone? oh and has anyone else been swimming at about 37 weeks, how was it? xx

Yeah I really enjoyed it, just the right amount of exercise for me I think :). But when you get out the pool thats when you feel it most. Makes you feel good and there was a lot of other women there as well to talk to. I am going to go back next week xx

Swimming was really good! It did feel so amazing to be weightless, as laurab1985 said. I didn't want to get out of the pool in the end. Was very hungry afterwards though lol. xx

Just read this hope your swimming goes well. I am 23/3 with my first baby and we are going to aqua natal today at 11 :). Got a swim suit from little woods and I thought I should try it on last night just to make sure I am so glad I did because it was to small :(. Have to ask my mum for one. xx

yes went swimming at about 37 weeks and again at the weekend 39 weeks now it is so nice to feel weightless you feel so heavy when you get out the pool. Enjoy it x

Hi yes it's my first baby he he half of my bump is prob chub as eating is the only thing that stops my morning sickness! Yeah let me know how you get on. He he I'm sure you won't sink lol!! If your swimming pool is anything like mine there'll just be a few nice old folk in there : ) xx
