Anti D Injection HELP ADVICE NEEDED!

Hi everyone i suffered a miscarriage 2 weeks ago at 12 weeks and i have just found out today i am A Rhesus Negative. Im really concerned that i havent had a anti d injection as i have been told you need to have these within 72 hours of heavy bleeding. Does this mean if my partner is a Positive and my body has already built up antibodies i will never have children?

hi im o rhesus negative and was told to hav the anti d at 28 and 36 weeks coz if the babys bloods positive then the babys antibodies attack yours but i decided not to hav the injection as i wasnt even told about it when i was pregnant with my 1st so when the baby is born if he is positive then i have to have the anti d then to fight off the babys antibodies that r in my system. my 1st was o rhesus positive so i was lucky dont know if this helps much as i thought it was only o rhesus types that hav anti d not a rhesus

Im there tomorow afternoon, i just wondered if anyone had any advise to ease my mind a bit, im worried sick that because of stupid hospital delays it could have ruined my chances all together :( x
Hun think positive... you will have a baby, don't worry! I have not heard of this before... my dad is an imunologist and though it is not exactly his field... it's all to do with antibodies in the blood, and I've not heard him talk about anything like this where a mother rejects her child because she has the wrong antibodies. I'm sure you will be fine.

I have no idea... please see your GP! I'm not sure what an anti d injection is.
