I like old fashioned names but unfortunately everything I pick becomes really common!! My girls are called Millie and Ruby!! For boys I love Archie, Freddie, Stanley, Arthur, Albert (Albie), Henry, George and Harry.

I really liked the name Buddy during my pregnancy, I was going to suggest it when I read all of your article and saw your surname I thought that it would be perfect if he became a stand up comedian!!

all my boys have unusual names, Ruben (Benny) is the newest addition. There is a list on my profile of all the kids, can't be bothered to write them all down here, there are 14 of them, 12 are boys and they all have 2 middle names, so the list is quite long.

A friend of mine has a six year old boy called Kalen- a lovely, Irish American name. It's unusual, but not so unusual that he gets any trouble, and it's also easy to pronounce and spell. He's a great kid too, so why not try that name?
