Ouch

Hi Im currently 26wks pregnant with my second little one. Over the last week I have been experiencing a sensation of pressure (like something is going to burst) low down in my abdomen and also I have been experiencing some sharpe pains when walking. Has anyone experienced this at this stage of there pregnancy (I did not experience this with my first little one Daniel). Ive spoken to a midwife who has just told me to continue to monitor it. Im not in excrutiating pain but its generally very uncomfortable and at times sharpe so if anyone has experienced anything similar and if they where given potential insight into what it could be caused by, would be much appreciated. I have had those pains and lots more too! I am now 33 weeks preg. I wouldnt worry. Its probably just growing pains and getting uncomfortable as baby gets bigger. I am calling my lil boy Daniel!! :-) and he is my first too. As this is your second I am sure you will be fine and it is normal for some pregnancy's to be easier than others. At 26 weeks he could be starting to put his head in and out of your cervix, practicing for the birth.... this could be whats causing the pressure that you describe. x
