I have just had my 3rd baby, Annie, my eldest, Charlie, turned 5 2 weeks after she was born and my now middle child, George will be 3 in July, so have quite small gaps between them. George was a real mummy's boy so thought he would be jealous but he loves Annie to bits and insists on holding her all the time, he is also in charge of the pram and lets me know every time she is awake! The school run is a bit hectic but if i get all the boys clothes ready and toothpaste on toothbrushes and breakfast ready before i feed Annie they can sort themselves out! Good luck whatever you decide! Lucy x
I only have the one but I had awful trouble deciding about another one I had my coil removed as it became dislodged and it was casing me loads of pain and we decided it would be nice to have another, my period was late but when i did a pregnancy test and it was negative i was kind of thankful because i decided it was a bad idea but then a week later i did another and it was positive, go with your 1st instinct im thrille to bits now cant wait to have 2, and if i manage ok my 3rd wont be far behind get them all out of the way while im young. if you plan too much you only get dissapoinet when it doesnt stick to it. xx
Hi, thanks for your input. My eldest is at pre-school and starts school next year and my youngest would be almost 3. I'm thinking that's a good gap as should be past terrible 2's, potty training etc. I'm also a little worried about how my youngest would react to another baby as she's a real mummy's girl, I'm worried I won't be able to give them both enough attention with another baby. Sometimes I think I'll just go for it and then the next day I'll be worried! Help!!
I have two girls aged 23 months and 3 and am thinking of having another but am having trouble deciding!! Are there any mums with 3 young children who can tell me their experiences?
hiya i am currently ttc baby no 3!! and taking a while 7 months so far and nothing??:O(
i also have two daughters aged 8 and soon to be 7...so bit of age gap compared to you - personally i wanted to wait as felt like i had twins and hubby works 7 days a week!!.. now they both at school and ill beable to make most of lil one when it finally comes?...the girls nag me for bro or sis too believe it or not!! and its all exciting again like my 1st cos its been so long!! one thing is gets it all out the way together but then your bound to want more and do it all again anyway?!
i'm expecting my third baby in october.
i'm 24 (25 in august) my eldest will be 3 in september and my other daughter will be 21 months when baby is born.
it is hard work but i can't wait to have another lil madam to give cuddles to!
the thing that made me decide to go for it again so soon was medical but i think, with that aside, it wouldn't have been much more of a gap anyway (hope that makes sense)
is you're eldest at preschool? mine is and she will be uping her sessions to in september so that should help.
i am 21 weeks now and i'm starting to struggle with carrying them or picking them up but they aren't to bad with this and my eldest kinda understands.
so let me think if you started next month and you feel that month then you're youngest would be......almost 3?? (crap at maths, lol)
thats a good gap!
what the heck, go for it!(biast opinion, lol)
good luck :-)
