storing cooled boiled water

During this hotter weather I have been giving my formula-fed baby girl (4months) some cooled boiled water which she happily takes a couple of oz each day. Occasionally if she wakes in the middle of the night and wont go back to sleep, I give her a little more water which helps her settle. Once made up I keep it in the fridge but have to warm it up a little before giving it to her as it practically takes her breath away otherwise. May be a silly question but can't find any advice on the net about this, but does anyone know if I have to keep these bottles of water in the fridge or once prepared each day can leave it out at room temperature? It's not like milk so don't know if being over cautious keeping it stored in the fridge.

Hi hun its not a silly question I make up all my sons bottles with boiled water and leave to cool on the kitchen worktop then as I need them I make up with formula except one which I keep as his water bottle so to speak. I did the same with my other 2 sons and they were fine! :)
