Hi everyone,
Hope you are having a nice weekend and sorry that my first post is so embarrassing but... have you ever suffered from constipation?
I've never had it before but I now have such an embarrassing problem... Over the past two weeks or so, I've noticed that whenever I go to the toilet, my BMs have become huge and it's really difficult and uncomfortable to go.
And now since yesterday, I have one that is so large I can't quite manage to pass it (despite going to the toilet three times this morning already without success - it feels like it is too big for my bottom).
Does anyone else have the same problem?
Thanks for your help.
Emma.

Hi, just thought id let u know that i also suffer from this problem but mine is a stomach condition that i have and so i live with constipation everyday (not nice!)
The best thing to try is a stool softner not a laxative. You can get it at the chemist, its a tablet and i think its caled 'dulcoease' but if you cant find it just ask the chemist for a stool softner. All it does is makes it easier to pass without the yucky effects of a laxative. You could also try putting you feet up on a small stool (no pun intended) when your sitting on the loo. A kiddies step is ideal. Another good thing to try is Aloe Vera juice which you can get from health shops.
Sorry if that was all a bit TMI - Hope you find some relief soon xx

I have had the opposite, terrible upset stomach! Constipation is totally normal in pregnancy though. Try the fruit thing and also try Danone Activa Yogurts as they are good for your bowels. If not you can take some medications just check with doctor or pharmacist
try eating prunes, drinking fresh orange juice, drinking more eating soft frits kiwi strawberry grapes xx
