hey, know this will sound mad but spray it with WD40, it shifts it completely, not on fabric though, for that use kitchen towels and your iron, then an all purpose stain remover for any color thats left.

Hi
Don't quote me on this but I think you could try hairspray! I'm sure I've seen it on "How clean is your house". If you do try, have a go in a small corner first where if it doesn't work the in laws shouldn't notice it!

I just use jif and it seems to do the trick although we just have painted walls, not sure if it's on wallpaper. For future reference you can buy washable crayons now which you can just use soapy waterto wash off I pressume?!
jif? really? might try that hope it dont take the paint off tho... lils dad is ready to just paint the walls but id rather not and anyway i have a feeling it wont be last time lil does something like this and while its lovely to keep homebase in business during this poxy recession im not sure i want that responsibility. thanks hun! x x

Hi I only know that to get wax out of carpet you use an iron set on a cooler setting and iron the area with a piece of paper on top - the wax melts into the paper. May be try a little section of the wall like this? Can you scrape it off lightly too? Good luck with it x PS love the phrase 'dull old fart'!! He he made me laugh : D : D xx

From fabric: Scrape off what you can, then dab with methylated spirits. Rinse and wash as normal. From vinyl wallpaper: Wipe with a damp cloth, or try a proprietary stain remover on walls - use a hair dryer to soften and melt the crayon, then simply wipe off with a paper towel!
