Have just found a different website that does a belly bump casting kit for £18.95 so in budget! Something pregnancy related and for mum to keep and would also be different!

Hi hun i had a surprise baby shower a few weeks ago - it was lovely. Not only did i get lots of clothes/cuddle robes etc but 2 friends clubbed together and got me a "Mum To Be" Sanctuary Gift Box, its from boots and has body butter, shower oil, bath oil, eye mask and stretch mark oil. That was the best present ever although i have used nearly all the butter and still have 6 weeks to go so i need to buy some more :( I also got a keepsake box which is lovely. I would definately advise getting something for her as people tend to buy everything for baby and its nice that people remember we need some special me time! xx

I saw something online called nappy cakes! They are designed to look like a cake but are made up of useful baby products. I think this would be a lovely gift for someone and a bit unusual too! Here is a link to a website I have found but if you google nappy cakes you will find others.

That link will show you a mums gifts cake which has luxury products for mum but costs £45 so maybe club together with someone. Or they do ones for baby from £30 that are gorgeous too.

Other people have mentioned it, but I LOVED my beauty vouchers! Team up with everyone else and then she can pick a really good treatment (or two!!!!). Also like the hamper idea - some little things to put in it might be baby nappy swimming trunks (you can get reusable ones, and they don't really seem to poo in the pool so it's not at all gross). Anyway, have fun!

Definitely get some kind of spa treatment, it was one of my husbands (single i must add) friends who bought me a lovely voucher for one. Was one of the best things after coming out of hospital!
If your really close to her you could make like a picture album of all your friends friends and their children. And then put a picture on each page with their name - then the fun bit - decorate with loads of glitter and stickers etc.
One great presents i got was a hamper, full of chocolate. Just like a normal basket or box or anything lined with materail, and stuffed to the brim with goodies - doesnt have to be expensive, just your normal everyday dairy milk etc.
Or do a hamper thing for both of them, for the baby put like a few vests in, pack of dummies, a teddy, cute outfit - that kind of thing. I think that would be great as its a bit of everything.
Then for mummy do one with some nice soaps in and bath bombs etc, really nice shampoo, face mask, choc, just random little things that you can buy everytime you go shopping - new hairbrush, some slippers, that kind of thing. Or you oculd do one full of funny things or a themed thing?

Hope it helps, let us know what you got in the end! xxxxx

At my baby shower I was bought
Clothes, baby books, baby book (i,e first smile etc), bottles, dummys, baby plates and spoons etc for when older, toothbrush and toothpaste again for when older. Teddies, play mat, mobile, bedding, toys, rattlend for me they got me some lovely Lush soaps, and vouchers for clothing after I had my LO. They also all signed a baby vest which I have framed, and they made me pledge cards for when babys born, i.e I promise to babysit, or I promise to take u out for a nando's etc just little things which I fully intend to use lol .. We also played games, guess how many skittles in the baby bottle, guess the bump size (with a piece of string), charades/pictionary (only baby related), guess the baby food (some puddings are YUM haha) and we were only allowed to drink our drinks from baby bottles, my god is that hard. It gave me a new found respect for baby's lol they work HARD to get their drinks lol xx and wow did it give me wind lol :) xxx
hope that helped a tad?xx
