Keeping baby cool in the hot weather?

Hiya, just wandered what you all do to keep baby cool in this hot weather, my little girl is nearly 7months and doesnt like the heat, shes come out in heat spots (i think they are). I've tried everything i can think of, a nice cool bath, plenty of water offered, light and minimal clothing, just wandered if anyone has any other ideas? Its worse at night as even with the window open that doesnt seem to let much cool air in and she finds it hard to sleep comfortably. Thanks x
