loola cosytoes & newborn??

Hi all. We have chosen to buy the loola for this baby but i just wondered whether anyone has used the cosytoes with a newborn? We cant really afford to buy the carrycot, besides hubby feels it would be a waste of money considering the time a baby would be in it & we already have a perfectly good carseat from last baby. We were just going to buy the loola & the matching cosytoes but i wasn't sure if it would be ok to use with a newborn? Im due 3rd Nov so goin to need 1! & im not a driver so it will be used almost straight away as our son starts pre-school n sept so il be taking him to nursery!

have just been looking at the loola on different websites & found it interesting. The premcentre website has the (08) model which they say has adjustable handle height & a weight of 10kg. where as the kiddicare website has the loola(full) which they claim doesnt have adjustable handle height & its 13.1kg!! no wonder people have said its heavy! its def the 08 model we've looked ( & we didn't think it was heavy but actually lighter than some of the other pushchairs we liked!!) so il be careful where i get it from! great price from the pramcentre - thought we were gettin a bargain from mothercare! just shows you should shop around first! anyone know though if the 08's the most up to date model? xx

our baby is due October 17 and we have bought the loola and got a really great bargain, go online to the glasgow pram centre. We got the loola plus creatis car seat, pushchair footmuff, carseat footmuff and changebag all for £299!!! because it was such a good deal we then went onto the kiddicare site and bought the windoo carrycot for £140 which is also cheaper than normal, and the raincovers for the carseat and carrycot. Hope this may help you!! :) xx

I bought a loola about 4 weeks ago for my daughter who is 18 weeks old as she outgrew her pramette very quickly due to being rather long but to be honest i really wish i hadn't bought it now cos it's quite heavier & hard to manoueve!!
I bought it cos i really liked the colour as it's pink & i bought all the accessories like the footmuff, parasol & change bag but my daughter looks really squashed up in the cosytoes & the parasol doesn't fit on the chassis very well, sorry to moan & possibly put you off but if i had the choice again it's not a pushchair i would purchase & really wish i'd got the mothercare MY3 or MY4 now instead
