Hiya, I'm unsure about bottle feeding but my lo's feeding pattern changed with the heat, it's their drink as well as food so I guess they would want to drink more often in the heat - I certainly do! Not sure about the amounts though - is he taking the same amount throughout the whole day? As for the crying it could be the heat - or just baby being a baby. My boy was a nightmare from 4 - 9 weeks, cried a lot (mainly in the evening) If you're worried get him checked over by the gp but if not just keep on trying to sooth the little man. i ma not to worried about the crying as all babies do this lol, but i just dont want to be over feeding him with his milk, as when i offer him water to try and push him on a bit longer he either spits it out or chokes on it, so dont know what elae to do, hv coming out on thursday so not long to wait

hi girls, i was just looking for some advice really my little man is 5 weeks old and he has gone from having 5oz of milk every 3-4 hours to only taking 2-3 oz and wanting to be fed every 2 hours do you think this could be to do with the fact that it is hot and he is uncomfy with the heat. also he is crying all the time when he is awake sometimes cause he is hungry but most of the time he just seems to cry for nothing.
