Silly question...

hey nope not a lot u can do bout heat rash..it might be baby acne though. try dipping cotton wool in cool boiled water and gently dabbing on her. xx

My LO is 4 weeks and she is sleeping pretty much all day, and waking up at night when it cools down x

my daughter is 21 months and is dozing off alot during the day, more than usualy as she normally has just one nap. i'm sure its the heat poor thing. x x

yeah mine is sleeping more to was really worried about him this morning so took him to see hv, put him to bed at 9pm lsst night and i had to wake him up at 5.30 this morning and he is only 5 weeks old, hv sed that it is just the heat and to wake him up and feed him every 4 hours, cause he has also stopped drinking as much milkxx

Hi, it's not a silly question. My LO (10 mths) has been sleeping loads and like your little girl he normally fights sleep during the day!! He has also been off his food, but then I don't really feel like eating cos it's too hot! Not sure about the heat rash, might be worth patting her face with a cold flannel or sprinkling her bed with cold water xx

Alex is the same, he sleeps all night and usually doesn't sleep much during the day but the last week he has been sleeping more due to the heat xx

this may sound a bit of a silly question but is anyone else's LO sleeping more in this heat?? My little girl is 6 weeks on thursday and she is usually so alert and active, but the last couple of days she has been sleeping more than usual. (usually she fights going back to sleep after feeds but the last couple of days she's been going off straight away, sometimes during feeds) my Mum said its probably the heat, but I'm realy paranoid!! saying that, yesterday she woke up for a feed at 3, and finally went back to sleep at about 9:45!! So maybe she's making up for it today!! Also, she has a heat rash on her face... it comes and goes but looks so horrible :( Is there anything I can do to get rid of it (apart from stopping her getting hot which is impossible at the minute!!) xx
