My baby was just the same. All the time he was awake and not eating, he seemed to be crying. I started using a dummy which helped a bit. I was also told he had colic and used Infacol before his feeds to help bring his wind up. I also took him out in his pram alot as this kept him quiet. It is a difficult time but it does get better. x
I have four children and my youngest was a big cryer. Yours is only young, so I wouldn't worry too much. Is there anything she really likes, such as bathtime? If you find a favourite activity, you might be able to distract her. If you're worried, go see your health visitor though.
I know this sounds like a really obvious question, but can anyone provide advice? My tw-week old baby is crying all the time. She's well-fed and sleeps quite well, but whenever she isn't feeding and is awake, she cries! Is this normal?
