Hi me and my partner hav been tryin for over 3 yrs now and recently found out he has a low sperm count,
i have read on NHS website about IUI which is an alternative to IVF, it says that u get upto 6 treatments on the NHS,
but does any1 kno anythin more bout it and how would i approach my doctor bout it? as my doctors not really very helpful, he sent us 4 tests etc... but just keeps sayin 'your still only young' (im 23 my partners 28)
which is really bugging me cuz weve been tryin 4 so long,
just wondered if any1 has anymore info?
xx

hi sorry cant be much help but just wondered if you'd thought of trying a fertility supplement such as fertilaid its meant to boost sperm count.i think it may work as i actually know someone who got a bfp this week after trying 3yrs and was told ohs sperm count was so low it would take a mircle.3months later shes pregnant but kept it quite and now announced shes 14wks!theres always hope.as for iui i think its less likely to work but if you get it on the nhs its worth a go!good luck
