hi, i went to the midwife yesteday and she said baby was breech and today i had my last appt at the anti natal clinic, he thought this was my 2nd pregnancy but it isnt its my first and im 35 weeks monday, they gave me a quick scan to show baby wasnt breech but 2/5 position, what does this mean? xx
2/5 means only 2 fifths of babys head can be felt above pelvis!!! 5/5 is totally free and 0/5 is completely engaged........im jealous im 39+3 and wen i had 38 week check he still wasnt engaged lol lazy baby

You may be early but it could stay at 2/5 for a while.

Hi There,
'2/5' would mean that your baby was nicely tucked into the pelvis or 'engaged' ('eng', for short). This does not necessarily mean that labour is about to start, but it does mean that there is plenty of room for your baby to pass through the pelvis and out the other side.
