My partner and I are currently tring for a baby and I was hoping somebody could tell me some good exercises that are safe to do during pregnancy.
Walking and swimming definitely. Yoga, pilates etc are also good, depends what you did before... if you did exercise then you can just carry on as long as you feel OK doing it. Maybe sport when baby can get a sudden bump is not so good!
Just got me thinkin my hubby is a cricket freak, if that BFP is correct he will have timed it so baby can watch cricket as soon as he/she is born... wouldn't be surprised if he takes me to nets in the winter to hit a few balls so his little one gets used to the sound of bat on ball before it's born. LOL if he does I'll play along with it... don't see any reason to stop doing sport... just be careful!!! I hope to continue horseriding for a while too!!!
I also read that swimming and walking are the best ones. My friend also said that using an exercise bike is good too. I used to run 3-4 times a week and obviously cant do that anymore. Really missing it at the moment. I am going to start up swimming a few times a week and some walking with my partner of an evening but just chilling at the moment until I get the all clear with my 12 week scan as had a mc last year and want to be safe x

Yes i can! Walking and swimming are said to be the best as low impact and safe. I used to go cycling and horse riding so have obviously have had to knock those on the head! I've started going swimming twice a week so that's a start anyway. I'm going to go to aquanatal classes when i get a proper bump, would feel like a fraud now as only 12 weeks! x
