12 week scan

hiya everyone.. ive just been for what i thought was my 12 wk scan.. ive been told im only 10 wks gone.. i was only in the room for prob less that 5 mins.. couldnt really undersatnd the lady an my scan picture is not a very good one.. on the picture it says baby measures 11cm is this correct for 1o wks gone. ive had a look an it seems way to large.

Hi, i had a 9+2 scan and she said the baby was measuring 2.5 cm which according to her is perfect. 11cm does seem very large for 10wks, maybe ring midwive to see if she could explain a bit better.

ah no problem.. everyone has said it seems big.. changed my doc got app on monday so hopefully find out
i was lookin at my scans last night and my first daughters scan at 12wks she was 13 cms. but with my baby that is due in 5wks time when i got the first scan done i was 14wks gone and only 8cms. so i think it just depends. x

I am only 6 weeks at the moment so not had any scans. I am not sure how big the baby should be at 10 weeks. I would speak to your GP or M/W and see what they say
