Extremely nauseous 4 weeks after miscarriage

Hey Ladies I wondered if any of you have experienced or heard of this. I had a miscarriage on the 5th of June (naturally at 12 weeks) also had a follow up appointment at clinic that confirmed it was a complete miscarriage. Last few days I have been feeling extremely sickly and really unsettled. I also have a horrible taste in my mouth but not like a metal tast more bitter bit like tonic water sort of. Is this just normal and my body just adjusting to not being pregnant or could this be a possibility that I am pregnant again? I’m so confused I want a baby so badly but worried incase if I am pregnant it is too soon after miscarrying. I did a test earlier today and there was a hint of a second line but not even enough to call it a faint line. I suppose this could still be hormones from my previous pregnancy. I feel like im in limbo.

It is also so difficult when you have recently miscarried to understand what is going on with your cycles. In one week's time if the symptoms you describe above haven't dissapeared then I think you should go back to your GP to explain the situation and also do another pregnancy test. In terms of trying again for a baby, you can try again as soon as you feel ready - there is no need to wait following a miscarriage.

AWww good luck hun,it's supposed to be really easy to fall pregnant right after a m/c,so lets hope it's happend for you! Maybe try doing a clear blue digital test to see what it says if you can't wait. Good luck x

I think i'll wait a week and do another test, its going to be so hard waiting.
When i had my last follow up appointment after the m/c they did a pregnancy test and it was negative which is making me wonder if there could still be hormones left.
Also after i physically miscarried a few days later i lost all my pregnancy symptoms so it feels wierd starting to feel so sick again. But i guess it could just be a stomach bug...... time will tell and ill keep you all updated. *~*Baby dust to you all*~* x

I had the symptoms that your decribed after my M/C in february 2009. It can take upto 6 weeks for previous pregrancy hormones to clear out of your body. If you are worried, you should contact your doctor to do a pregrancy blood test. Hope you get the result you wanted.
