i am so stressd i feel like crying i pay £20 pound a week off my council tax and i got a letter today sayin my partner has to go to court becasue we are not paying anuff i pay £80 a month for god sake how can that not be anuff they really dont care about people do they my partner is not on the best job in the world and we just manage i would start work but im 24 weeks preg and have a 20 month old boy im so worried i no there isnt anythign any one can do but i just needed to talk :(
I know this sounds strange but one thing I was told when I was pregnant is stress is bad and if your feeling under pressure from the council simply go to your doctor, explain the situation and how it is making you feel and see if he could ask the council to ease off for a bit at least until you can get yourselves sorted.
i think that u can get help with ur council tax if u contact ASK they will tell u x
tried replying fully but keeps telling me inappropriate message no idea why?! Must be upsetting especially right now, have a talk with them and explain the situation they will cancel the court date and let you know how much you need to settle each week. Best wishes x
