How long for AF after miscarriage?

Hi Girls I just wondered how long it took people to have their first period after a miscarriage? I was 12 weeks gone when i passed my baby naturally 6 weeks ago. Ive heard people say between 6-8 weeks so im hoping its soon. I also wondered what to expect? A few people have told me it will be bad and others have said really light. Its the not knowing that im getting so worked up about and just wanting a bit advice. x

hi, sorry to hear about m/c , after my m/c it took 5 months ,, its true when they say every woman is diffrent ,if u havnt had period after 3 months see a doctor the referd my for tests and came back i had pcos, try not to worry, good luck trying again xx

hi sorry about the miscarriage it took me 13wks for a period after mine but i hope urs returns soon so u can start trying x

It takes up to six weeks after natural M&C but can take up to 12 weeks for some women to have their m/c. Period after m/c is normal. Hope you are feeling better. xx

hi sweetie, i hope u r feeling bit better, my af after1st mc wes 31 dys and after 2nd mc it was 6 weeks and 2 days, my af afterm/c was absolutely normal and nothing horrible, it can take up to 8 weeks for it to arrive but i hope yours comes soon hun take care ann xx
