I did Miscarry :-(

Hello Everyone, As some of you know last Sunday I had some brown spotting didn't think much of it but went up to A&E anyway just to get checked out after sitting and waiting for ages we eventually got to see a Dr who then examined me who confirmed a "Threatend Miscarrige" She said it could be either or.... So went back home and on Monday my fears where confirmed by Monday afternoon I was in absoulute AGONY i was bleeding very very hevaily. So much as me not wanting to my Partner perswaded me to go back up to the Hospital i got there and they confirmed I was Losing the baby but they wanted to keep me in as I was bleeding so much and had very very low blood Pressure. I was so upset but kept it in....They scanned me the next day and thought I would have to have A D&C which I didn't want so after then staying in another night as I had a few probs they let me go home on Wednesday Morning with painkillers..... I've had no appointment to go back at all and am still passing loarge clots but before they come I am in pain so think I will have to go and See G.P and see what they say?? Sorry for such Long post just time I've really explained it tbh. We're thinking of planting a tree or Letting of a pink Balloon (As we thought it was a girl)in one of our fave places as closure and a goodbye.... Finding it all a bit hard at the mo but hopefully with time it will get easier. I hope your all well with your Bumps and Babies. Danielle.xx

Hi Danielle
I'm so sorry to hear your news.
I needed the kleenex too after reading that poem!
I had a mc in December while visiting my sister in the US. I was bleeding for over 3 weeks, then they finally let me fly home and then my local hospital gave me a d&c. I didn't want surgery either (I'm absolutely terrified of being knocked out) but I have to admit that I felt better afterwards. I just felt exhausted before and like I couldn't try to move on while it was still happening. Try not to be too upset if you have to have one as I really did feel so so much better afterwards. I am now 17 weeks pregnant so please don't give up hope....it will happen for you soon.
xx

So sorry to hear your news. Hope your doing OK. Make sure you get plenty of rest and look after yourself. Hot water bottles help if you are experiencing bad cramps. Get yourself a nice hot water bottle, a big duvet and some chocolate, curl up with your OH and have a big cuddle. When I had my m/c last year I passed lots of clots for about 4-5 days after and was in a lot of pain. It does ease after a while but go and see your GP if you are still feeling bad. Take care xxxxxx
