I would ask to have a hysterosalpinogram or lapararoscopy and dyothermy - this will check if your tubes are clear or not. Most women have cysts on their ovaries at some point during their cycle as these are actually the follicles that develop to contain the ovum. For a diagnosis of endometriosis you will need to have a laparoscopy and I would speak to your GP about this.

Theres no need to be worried about the op. I've had one 6 years ago cos apparently both my overies were covered in black cysts. I haven't fallen pregnant yet but all test have come back saying all is fine now. I too had chlamydia about 5 years ago and all tests say that i'm fine.
At the end of the day, it takes longer for someone to fall pregnant and instantly for others. Just be patient and try not to worry abou it. xx
Hi again, Chlamydia can develop into pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) for 1 in 5 women and that's what can cause blocked tubes, it can be difficult to detect on tests http://www.patient.co.uk/health/Pelvic-Inflammatory-Disease.htm has some more info. If that's what you have then it should be found during the Laparoscopy and is treatable (the earlier the better). Endometriosis is also treatable http://www.patient.co.uk/showdoc/23068733 has some more info on it, depending on the severity will depend on the treatment you need but it may be further surgery if your tubes are being obstructed. Wish you all the best and hope it all goes well and you get good news. Good Luck x
Thank you very much for your kind effort in giving me the information that i neeed. I will take a look as soon as i can. Thanks for your luck i cant tell you how much it means haaving the support of those on gurgle, it brings me hope and joy just knowing there is people out there willing to help when you feel down and feel nothing possible, thanks ever so much, xxx :)
hi i think i may of had this infection for a year i am really not sure. I am still hving periods, but i am not sure my tubes are blocked? i got rushed into hospital a few weeks ago with really bad abdominal pain, they did scans etc and found cysts on my left ovarie and a cyst inside my right ovarie which started to bleed, i have had cysts for over 5 months now and not sure what type of cysts they are, the doctor seems to think it may be endometriosis, so that diminished the thoughts of me ever falling on. i am really very scared and nervous about going for a laparoscopy in the next 8 weeks. I really want to be a mum, i want nothing more!,xx

Do you know how long you had Chlamydia for? the longer you had it untreated means the less chance you have to conceive. Are you still having periods? if you are than at least one of your tubes is clear and still delivering eggs and you have a chance of becoming pregnant. just remember that women who become pregnant after Chlamydia have a greater chance of ectopic pregnancy (Pregnancy outside the womb) if the fallopian tubes have been damaged. Good luck for the future x

Can i still get pregant even though i had clamidia 2 years ago?
I have had many blood tests which are all fine, i have had a transvaginal scan, kidney scan and pelvic scan which were all fine. My doctors says my uterus looks healthy but im still not pregnant, I have been reading up on info that people have posted out and i am going to beging the sperm meets egg plan! I am taking Folic Acid and multivitamins and after "trying" i am using a pillow to keep me tilted as i have a tilted whomb. If my fallopian tubes are blocked will i still get pregnant? Please help anyone's advice welcome xx
i had a tilted womb which was found after i got pregnant with my first aged 16 so it shouldnt stop conception.it went back to normal after the birth and was fine when i had my son.its meant to be quite common and shouldnt be a problem if everything else is ok good luck x
hi you may want to check this info for your self but in a book on tcc i read recently it said not to take vitamin A suppliment which is part of most multi vits, so make sure either you take multi vits that are designed to pre-natel as they dont have vit A in them or one that does not contain vit A. hope tis helps.
Does this also mean not too many carrots then?
