Early Pregnancy

after years of trying and hundreds of tests coming back negative, finally, i got a positive result, but i am having doubts as to wether a test result can ever prove wrong when it so clearly says otherwise? is it natural to be feeling this way and has anybody else had the same situation?

HIya, I'm 9 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. I experienced cramping just after I found out I was pregnant again and having suffered a miscarriage with my first pregnancy I expected the worst. My midwife reassured me that this was perfectly normal as long as the pain didn't become acute and there was no bleeding. Last week I started having a bloody discharge and pain and after 2 scans I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. The pain has been unbelievable and I never thought I'd hear myself say this but I think it was evan worse than child birth! despite being reassured by both scans and seeing the hearbeat for myself, i can't help but worry. I swore I would enjoy this pregnancy but so far I've had a pretty bad start. just need to keep my fingers crossed that the baby grows and the cyst doesn't. if anyone wants to offer any words of wisdom to share feel free xx

Hi Loubealice & Tinkabell! It was reassuring to read this as I too have been getting cramps so have been a bit worried. Plus, I told my doctor I was pregnant yesterday (I'm 5 weeks) and he took the shine off it all saying that it's very early days and anything could happen etc. I suppose he's just trying to reassure me incase the worst does happen, however I did leave there feeling a bit dissheartened.

Hi everyone. I'm Sam and I found out that I was pregnant about 10 days ago. I had a scan today just to check everything's okay, as I have a history of miscarriages and everything looks fine! we saw a heartbeat on the scan and everything and it was so amazing!! It turns out that i'm 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow and i just hope things will turn out okay!

Ive done 2 tests as well n both said positive. The 2nd one was a Clear Blue digital one which said that I am 2-3 weeks, however I have not had a proper period since the end of May so cannot work out dates at all!!

My body has felt really weird over the past month or so, my reasts are really sore and I have been sick this morning (not sure if this was anything to do with it but wasnt nice!)

We have been trying since May so I am very excited, however I dont want to tempt fate so I am trying not to get too excited yet! Got a doctors appointment tomorrow afternoon so I guess wait n see!!

hi loubealice i am 6 weeks pregnant and still getting cramping i spoke to my gp about it and he said its nothing to worry about unless its accompanied by spotting or bleeding all it is is your uterus expanding getting ready to accomodate your baby.

Hi ladies, just been reading your posts...lovely to read all the different symptoms. I'm a day late (very unusual) but have woken up this morning with cramps but have had no bleeding yet. I've had waves of nausea and dizziness over the last month but don't want to get my hopes up. Is cramping and no period normal?? xx

I have just found out I am 4weeks, I keep thinking I am about to start my period and have slight twinges like early cramps.

Is this normal?
