what did you do?

wondered what other mums did, or are planning to do - I'm due 4th December. When did you get your christmas tree in, before you were due so it was all there when you got home? Or wait until you had your baby? We live on an island too, so it's all a bit of a trek to get decorations and stuff, and being out first christmas in our house, we don't have any of that stuff already! Just wondered what other people did? xxx

my daughter was born on the 19th december and we had our tree up already, she is 6 now and she chooses if she wants it up before or after her birthday, mostly she wants it up before but we do her birthday celebration in a different room and decorate it with birthday banners so it seperates xmas and birthday. x

im due 25th novemeber so its very possible that i could have a december baby. im going to start my shopping next month for xmas and my daughters birthday as its 12th november! all the adults have said not to buy for them this year so might have to take them up on that and concentrate on my daughter and two neices. As for decorations etc, im not sure when im putting those up. i usually do it in the 1st week of december so will still do that if possible. luckily i bought all new last year so will be good this year x
