Ahaha my brain has definitely gone to mush - 3 times over!
Yeah i know its better for them and everything, but im not alowed anywhere near them, and i cant go out the house because Isla is too ill, so im stuck in bored!
Childminder has got Indy today because i'd rather her do something than sit in all day watching telly with Isla, she gets way too bored. But yes, Isla is on the sofa next to me with a duvet watching cbeebies - doctor friend told me to just leave her on the sofa to rest and everything if shes that ill.
22 in special care, tht must have been really hard for you x
All my daughters have been prem so in a way im used to having them in SCBU, but with my other 2 daughters i stayed in with them everyday, but with the triplets i've had to leave them which has been awful.
Yeah they seem to take a step forward by coming off feeding tubes or oxygen, and then they take 4 steps back again, its so exhausting. Or they make a date for your baby to come home and then they find out something else is wrong, it annoys you - not because you dont want your baby to get better but you jst want them home.
But i spose i'd rather them stay in longer and be better when coming home.
Yes do check the kiddicare thing out - i found it great (although friends took the p!ss when Indy still had the support at 7 months lmao - just wanted her to be comfy! hhaaa)!
Ahh im sure there will be many posts about the 5 little monkey's, although you'll probably be the only one replying - everyone else is probably sick of them ahaha lmao!
Thank you! xxxxxxxx
Hi,
That is the most difficult bit not being able to see them everyday...when my middle daughter was in (22) i hurt my back..i spent one week in bed at home till it got so bad an then i had to be addmitted for a week..was horrible i couldnt even hold her an they wouldnt let me in a wheelchair...so i stole one an got other half to take me over lol..was so painfull but worth it just to see her. My first baby was in hosp for three days then my second was in for four hours so when lucy went in an didnt come out for 4 months nearly drove me bonkers..but i only had the one to focus on so must have be really difficult with three.
Rest deffinately is the best medicine an kiddies get over things so much faster than adults...we get a cold an it hits us like a tonn of bricks kids get it an run around like loones lol. never ceases to amaze me.
Ppl always take the p!ss out of me cos i make sure mine are well protected from the sun even tho i am mixed race. I have just bought an outlook sun shade..it fits over the whole buggy an protects them from glare bugs an of course sun rays. everyone " oh with yr skin type yr kids wont burn but i have never tested the theory cos i do burn an quite badly lol...factor 50 all the way. we have had some hot days in the uk an although it may not be as hot as aboard ppl forget we are not used to it over here...lol have just read what i wrote..think i got on my soap box there..sorry for the rant.
hope everyone is gettin better xx
take care hun an have a restful day as much as u can xx
I am sorry to hear u and yr daughter are unwell..as frustrating as it is the little ones are in the best place for them......i know how u feel as i had a daughter who spent 22weeks in nicu an my last daughter spent a week in there also. I just wanted them home but everytime we got close something would happen an mean they had to stay longer. but with the swine flu an chicken pox it is safer to have them there. I wish u all a speedy recovery..an thanks for the kiddiecare thingy i will check it out. xxx i will look out for yr posts as i am really interested in knowing what life is like with triplets an two little sisters...i know it will be chaos but i can imagine how lovely it is also xxx

If her back is supported by the back of the chair she can sit in a more unright position. Most of the world's babies are carried in an upright position- rather than lying in a chair- there is no evidence that it does Chinese, African or Japanese babies amny harm to be held upright all the time.
Babies vary a great deal. A`few are sitting at 4 months, a few crawling at five and walking at nine. If your daughter is on the fast developmental track she is prabably ready to sit and look at the world. Life is a bit dull when lying on your back- there is a great deal more to see if propped up.
As long as the seat is at an angle- and her head is not flopping around all should be fine.

Yeah at least then you know shes got her body supported and everything - will try and find the site of the one i got. (which i've ended up getting for my triplets too.)
Ah god i know, when i say things to my mum about them not being alowed to eat this, or not having this before a certain age shes like oh god whats the world come to?! But its true, i never go by the 'rules' anymore, i think its mostly common sence tbh.
Aww bless her, funnily enough i know 5 little female monkies who are exactly the same - 3 being newborn triplets lmao! xxx
