I know that with old traditional nappies you needed to soak them before you washed them. However, do you need to do that with modern ones? I'm going to be using the Bambino Mio ones, which have the disposable papery liners in side the linen nappy bit that is then washed. Do i just buy the special stuff to wash them in? Or do I put stuff in the nappy bin? Or do I have to soak them?!
Thanks for any advice!
I did soak my nappies. I had 2 nappy pail's one for poo nappies which I soaked.
You can get proper nappy soak from places like boots but I found that a brand called "napisan" was the best. Best still it get's out most stain's in your normal wash (great for soaking bibs and clothes that have got food on them too). You can get it in most large supermarkets.
I didn't bother to soak nappies that my son had just wet, but sometimes you may want to as the bucket can get a bit smelly. You can just use normal non-bio washing powder to wash them in. Good luck x x x
I don't bother soaking them, just put them in a nappy pail until you're ready to wash them. I just do a 60 degree pre wash x
