hiya, i had my first child when i was 18, my second when i was 19, i am now pregnant again and i'm 29! so there will be an age gap of 10 years between this wee one and my second child.my firstborn, a son was thrilled to bits when i fell pregnant with my second, a girl. he was only just over a year old but understood that he'd have a wee brother or sister, they are very close and loving towards each other but have thier squabbles now and again as all siblings do. they are both happy and excited at the thought of another baby on the way.
There will be a 3 year age group when I have my second which suits us as (hopefully)! Geraint will be out of nappeis! I think it all depends on you and what you feel comfortable with.
Hi, I have a little boy who just turned 3 on 3rd Feb and I am currently 22 weeks pregnant with my second. I think around 3 to 4 years is a good age gap. My little boy has taken the news quite well and has been helping to look after me and given me lots of hugs when I have felt sick or tired. He also spends time talking to my tummy and telling his new sister/brother what he has been up to. At 3 he is able to spend time playing with his trains and tractors while I sit back and put my feet up for 5 minutes. I hope things continue to go well when the baby arrives in June!!

Hi everyone,I have 3 girls Ashleigh 13 ,Chloe 11,Kayla 9 and had them all 2 years apart which was nice as they are close but looking bak it was hard work but i just got on with it. Then last june i had a little baby boy shea who is now 7 months so there is 8 and a half years between him and my youngest kayla and i have found it so easy as i have lots of help from the girls. but it is strange to think i will be bak down the nursery again and doing the first day at school again but i cant wait .I have also found that i get to spend alot more alone time with shea than i did the youngest to as i also had a toddler around when they were babies
Kai was still only 19 months when Calum was born, and Calum had just turned 23 months when Amy was born. Each time the new baby just slotted into the family like they had always been there. It is nice to think they will grow up with just only 3 1/2 years between them.
i havea son (jack) who is nearly 4 and a daughter (olivia) who is nearly 2. there is 22 months between them and most of the time they get on fine. we had no problems with jack when olivia came along. he just took it in his stride. he is always helping her to do things and he is realy good with her. our 3rd baby is due in 3 weeks so there will be 20 months between olivia and the baby. jack is really lookin farward to her arrival but i dont know wot olivia will think. we'll soon find out!!!
I have three girls age 24 years, nearly 3 years and 20 weeks. It was a gap of 21 years and I have never looked back! I can now say I have the experience of being a young teenage mum (18) and an older hopefully wiser mum. I loved being a young single mum but there is something special about being older more settled and planning a family. The age gap between my youngest means that there is 2 years and 5 months between them which at first was a bit difficult as she believed she was the one who shold have all of the attention but now things have settled into a routine and my nearly 3 year old adores her baby sister!
