has anyone had the bcg vaccine on their baby yet? the appointment for mine has come through and i'm not sure about it. Is there any major side effects? Does the scar look like the one we got when were 14 or is it smaller?

Hi,
My little boy Bodie is 3yrs and 5 months and just had his DIp booster but as he has renal failure due to a rare disease called HUSd+ that he caught from food in a hotel in egypt (long story) we decided not to do his MMR at the same time and the nurse agreed.
Unfortunatelt he is now on antibiotics as he had a reaction to the DIP jab, very high temprenture and very swollen arm, so we are thinking that we may not do MMR as can't risk it but shall have to look more into it, frightening really,
