thanks a million. hope your youngest is better soon x
nasasol is brilliant! its a nasol drop you can buy from the chemist, (but can get on prescription too) its about £3.
my LO hates it when i have to squirt it up her nose, but it is very fast acting (on her anyway). ive found this with a karvol capsule on her sheet and ted (who she is always sunggling) has really helped!
thanks, the nasasol sounds good, will make a note of that for the next cold her gets! thanks xxxx
My daughter currently has a cold & i've just been putting a karvol capsule every night on her comfort blanket & she has slept a treat although she is now starting with a cough, so been giving her calpol before bed x
karvol is mentioned by a few people on here so have made a note of that, thanks a million for your advice xx
hi there, i used snufflebabe or olbas oil for kids, or vicks for kids & always had a room vaporiser plugged in at the same time. when things got really bad i bought sterile drops from the chemist for her nose but found this too traumatic. it's all trial & error, used to put drops on night clothes, then on a hankie near the moses basket... it's endless & very individual. to this day i prefer, karvol drops on night clothes & room vapour plug in!!. good luck. xx
thanks- thats all very good advice. xx
Calpol make a little plug in which is supposed to act as a decongestant and is suitable for 3 months +, saw it today in babies r us. Never heard of snufflebabe, sorry! x
great thank you, will have a look for that xx
hi I'd go with your own opinion and the health visitor, but that's just me! You're the boss not your mum ; ) xx By the way tho I don't have a baby so I'm not experienced, but thought I'd write and at the least keep your thread in the top boxes!
any opinion is appreciated, so thank you for taking the time. xxx
Never heard of it. Always used calpol and a tiny amount of baby strength vicks dabbed on front of clothes of a night if their really blocked up. Failing that if they get really bad take them into a steamy room (leave shower on hot for a while in the bathroom) as it helps them breath. x
thank you - great tip about the steamy room xx
