Right, I started Christmas shopping today and bought most of Alex's presents but I still need to get him some other little things. He'll be 9 months old. So far I've bought him:
activity table, push along baby walker, soft fun blocks, crawl and learn ball, 4 books and a Kipper dvd. I've picked 4 other toys for the grandparents to get: shape sorter, piano thing (lol), baby laptop and a pop up pals thing.
Any suggestions would be helpful xx
Am I cruel, I don't plan on getting anything for my baby boy - he's due in a week and a half so will be about a month and a half at xmas. I do however plan on dressing him up as everything christmassy!!!
Thats not cruel!
To be honest after having a thing about it i doubt i'll get my little boy very much at all. I'm due in 3 + 5.
I know his grandparents and greatgrandparents will spoil him rotten so it's not like he' go without.
And anyway, he won't know the different.
I'm getting him a Reindeer outfit from mothercare as my OH doesn't want him to have a Santa one lol!.
I can't wait, he's going to look so cute!.

god bless my dishwasher lol! this is the 1st christmas that we're having on our own, last year we had the parents round but think we're just gonna have us 3 this year.
Yeah same here, but this is our 1st christmas......... We'll get plenty of visitors though as they will want to see Harvey open his pressies and give them to him. I am not betting he'll be very appreciative of pressies, more interested in paper and boxes as i was the same and he won't be the only 1 lol xx
Thats not a bad idea i certainly didn't think of thanks, i too can't wait as its our 1st xmas as a family so were staying home..... Can't say i'm looking forward to all that washing up though xx

Alex will be 9 months and we've bought him: activity table, push along baby walker, soft fun blocks, crawl and learn ball, musical hammer, plastic musical nursery rhyme book, 3 books, 2 buggy books and 4 dvds. I've picked 4 other toys for the grandmothers to get: shape sorter, piano thing (lol), baby laptop and a pop up pals thing. One granda is getting us a playpen and the other will probably just send money. We're gonna ask my brother for 2 stair gates. We've told everyone that if they want to give us any more then to give us argos or toys'r'us vouchers.
