Ok so after being moaned at by my my friend last night I've decided that I will do santa but we're doing it so that the presents are half from him and half from us (we only ever got santa when i was little) so i won't feel so bad. I think subconsiously I've been thinking about one of the sex offenders we had in priosn who was santa's double and that put me of a bit. Thanks for all your opinons ladies xx
Def Santa Claus!
Thats part of the magic for me anyway, I love seeing their little faces on Christmas morning when we creep downstairs to see if Santa has been! Leaving a mince pie, glass of sherry and a carrot for Rudolph out by the fire on Christmas Eve! My eldest is 8 and I know he is doubting the truth know but I think he will keep quiet for a few years because of his brothers.
What will you say to him at school when the other children are talking about Santa?
I'm already excited about Christmas :)
lol we do the santa thing an cant wait for this year although she will only be 7mths lol ...my eldest 2 (16 an 10) know who "he" really is. though we do pressies from everyone and their big/main one from santa. Must admit to be more worried as to what i am gonna do about the xmas tree and my LO wanting to pull at it lol xx I haven't baby proofed the house yet lol..best get my skates on argghhh lol
thinking about it, my mum and dad still send a present from them and a present from santa to me and I'm 34, lol!!!!

god i must have been spoilt then lol :-)
i couldn't tell my girls hes not real, it's so magical seeing their faces when the come down stairs in the morning and hes 'drunk' his milk and rudolph has 'nibbled' his carrot and there are presents in a sack for them. it really does start the day off with the right atmosphere.
We always give the main presents from me and Daddy (eg - have got my daughter a DSI and 3 games) and then they get 2 or 3 token presents costing up to £10 each from Santa - my daughter is 8 and still believes at the mo, only told my son who is almost 12 this year that santa isnt real - think he has known for a couple of years and so played along cos of his little sister which I have asked him to continue to do for a few years as would like his baby brother to experience the same excitement and magic of christmas that the story of santa brings, as he did!! :)
see we only got santa and everyone i know just does santa and not mummy and daddy presents. I would be telling him santa is not real, i wouldn't just not give him santa presents.
