Hi,
We are looking to buy a baby video monitor for our first baby and wondered if anybody could give us any advice. Our friends have one but it does nothing but 'crackle' all the time and seems like they have a problem with interference.
Thanks
Also Secure Sleep Digital Video monitor, £99.99 Summer Infant got 5 out of 5 on price and design and 4 out of 5 on features in the same magazine and was labelled as P&b's best video monitor. Picture quality is brilliant and the rechargeable parent unit lasts up to 3 nights but there's no night light x
A few of my friend's have used video monitor's for there little ones and have had the same problem with interference. (a couple of them ended up buying a normal one and turning to volume down on the other). Not sure what the newer more expensive digital ones are like maybe ask in store Toys r us, mothercare etc and make sure they tell you you can take it back if you have that problem. Buy one and test it out before LO is born at diffrent point's around the house and with different electrical things turned on as your wi-fi and other thing can stop them working properly. We just used the Angel Care monitor with our son and had no problems but I slept better because of the sensor pad xx
Clarity Digital Video Monitor £140, Lindam got 3 out of 5 for price and 5 out of 5 for design and features in Pegnancy and Birth magazine. says the picture quality is really good, even when its pitch black, Its easy to use and there's no background noise. x
We were thinking about this but may actually go down the route of getting a web cam instead when the time comes. Reason we wanted to do it is I have ME and going up and downstairs loads of times checking would be tiring so could monitor baby better and have a laptop so can use it outside even! x
