Well ladies I am now a week overdue, at this point I had already given birth 2 my first son naturally!! lol But for some reason this little baby don't wanna know, when I saw my midwife on friday she did a stretch and sweep for me and said it all seems ready to go up there, I'm 1-2 cm dilated and have since lost all of my show but he still hasn't made an appearance!
I'm due to see my midwife again tomorrow for another stretch and sweep but if that still don't work I've got to go to labour ward to be induced at 9.30 on Halloween night! I really don't want to b induced so I have been trying my hardest to start it by myself but nothings working, even sex isn't doing the trick!!!
I'm about to go for a walk now with my son to c if it will finally trigger my contractions 2 start, Is anyone else in the same situation or ever experienced this before?? Because I find it so hard to believe and so fustrating that everything is seemingly ready and has been for a while but still no contractions and no baby!
Congratulations! Nothing was gonna shift my little boy apart from having my waters broken, he had so much fluid it gushed out 4 times after they broke!! So he was obviously very happy swimming about in there lol xx
haha he'll like swimming then! how u feeling pain wise? enjoying being a mummy did u stay in hospital long how was the labour for u? hows ryan doing? x

Congratulations! Nothing was gonna shift my little boy apart from having my waters broken, he had so much fluid it gushed out 4 times after they broke!! So he was obviously very happy swimming about in there lol xx

I didn't get my Halloween baby in the end :-( When I went in to be induced in the morning I got an idiot as a midwife who didn't even want 2 induce me!!! She was gonna give me another stretch and sweep then send me home, she couldn't even count properly saying that i was only 10 days overdue when I was due on the 19th!! I made myself known that I wernt happy and educated her on what 19 plus 10 equals lol she then agreed 2 put some gel up 2 try and start labour naturally b4 she wud consider breaking my waters, which was the original plan that my midwife had communicated to them when booking my induction. Anyway I had 2 wait 6 hours 4 my next examination 2 giv the gel chance 2 work, which it didn't and so my waters were finally broken at 8pm Halloween night, the labour only lasted 5 hrs and 12 mins after that and baby Ryan was finally born at 1:12am on the 1st of November weighing 8lb 3oz.
Its just so annoying that because of that useless midwife not doing as she was instructed 2 do, I missed out on having my halloween baby by an hour and 12 minutes!!!!
I've now gotta go in at 9am 2moro morning instead of 9.30 at nite, I'm well excited now but also very nervous lol! So I'll defo b having a Halloween baby, YAY!!! :-)

hi good luck for your labour,just want to say i was the same as you in a way, i went in hospital three weeks early to be induced they went to give me a pesseri at night but said i was already 1-2 cm dilated and that didnt need one i had mild pains all night then in the morning went down to labour ward my pains were getting slightly stronger,they broke my waters for me,they said it was bulging and nearly clipped my babys head as her head was right down 6 hrs 35 mins later my daughter was born weighing 5lb 6 oz, when labour isnt far away its so exiting isnt it x
Yeah I'm so excited for saturday! I know its gonna b so painful this time round especially because I'm not having an epidural this time (last one has left me with getting pins and needles randomly in my legs) but I really can't wait and all the pain is over quickly enough and forgotten about when you're holding that gorgeous little baby in your arms :-) x
