really confused

hi, i know excatly how you all feel. unfortunately she went throgh with it and is recovering! thats all i know as have hardly spoken to her!!! i understand everyones views as they are very similar to mine, i have very mixed emotons at this as i feel termination this late is very wrong but it was her personal choice and we are all entitled to have a choice!!

How desperately sad for this little baby - so developed at 24 weeks :..( I'm sorry I just can't imagine aborting a baby so late. I can't imagine it for the lady involved too - so sad for everyone I think. I don't mean to judge, just feeling sad at this post x

Firstly ..i am so against late termination..but to liken someone to a peadophile is a tad strong..who knows what the circumstances are and as a mother of 4 one who died 2 yrs ago aged just 2yrs and also having suffered the horror of miscarriage and having had fertility probs myself..i can understand everyones disgust and outrage..there has to be some really good reason why the dr are allowing her to proceed at this late stage..as i said circumstances are unknown...as this was posted so long ago..i just hope that all is ok..

Also I'd like to make another point, rikkihep said 'how awful for her, it's a terrible thing to go through' how awful for her! how awful for the child may I add! and frankly, she has put herself through it so I dont have any sympathy.

This is going to seem very strong and i may offend some people but it's just what I think. Your friend should be ashamed of herself for what she's done, frankly, i dont care what her circumstances are, its disgusting. In my opinion, she's murdered that child, people on here critise vanessa george for molesting children, but you're friend has killed a fully formed child, that may be capable of living, she's no better than all the peodophiles and child killers, she should be banged up with the lot of em. unfortunatley it's legal and there isnt anything I can do about that. But she doesnt deserve support from anyone, she doesnt deserve fertility. Its a damn insult to those on here desperatley trying for a baby, they're going through all the let downs of a negative pregnancy test everytime, and that woman gets pregnant, and kills the child... it upsets me. I hope she cant pregnant again after this because what she's done, is disgraceful.

She will find this experience incredibly difficult and will probably detatch herself from the situation. It will hit home when she has come around after the operation. All you can do is be there for her. She is lucky to have such a caring friend x

thanx girls, she told me she is definately sure this is right for her and it tears me apart cos being a mum myself i know how scary having a baby is but also how rewarding it is too! also at 23+6 weeks its viable as of tomorrow!!! what is gonna happen to that baby when it is taken out? it breaks my heart as a mum to know the suffering that baby will go through just because its not wanted!!!! it could live for a few hours after it is out and wont have the love it deserves! im not anti termination but i could never go through with it especially after 12 weeks! god i hope it all goes well and she has made the decision right for her!!! thanks for listening to me rabble on, im just so concerened about it all xxx
