hi i am 20+1 and a little worried i have recently started waking in the night to find my stomach bulging it feels like the baby is trying to escape and is really quite painful they actually remind me of the contractions i had with my first child, i am also feeling quite sick and dizzy at times i'd just like to know if any1 is experiancing the same thing and if it is normal thanks
I'm exactly the same stage as you 20+1 and have this feeling occasionally. Feels to me like she is stretching out as far as she can go till it feels so tight I have to pause and hold my breath and wait for it to ease, which it usually does after a few long moments! It often happens to me first thing early in the morning. I assume its froglet either stretching or turning around. I've had waves of minor nausea that comes on then passes (never lasts more than a minuet) and I've been so dizzy I came very close to falling over on the shower about 5 times the other day (luckily I have toes like a monkey when it comes to gripping!) I read up about that and its common as you can experience a drop in blood pressure around this stage, it'll even out again soon. x
Hi I've had period like cramps on and off through out the whole of my pregnancy (I'm 34 weeks now) Ive had braxton hicks at night from about 31 weeks onwards (not every night just a few times) May be your baby is more active at night and it's just your womb stretching? I'd mention it to your midwife. There are so may aches and pains with pregnancy! I'm sure everything is fine but you might as well speak to your midwife to put your mind at rest. My baby has always been way more active a at night, with strange bulges at one side etc. I've had lots of sickness and I believe dizziness can happen too. It might help if you sleep on the your left hand side - I believe this is supposed to be the best position for you and bubs xx
kk thankyou i did call the midwife an was jus trold to have a bath but was at work so had no chance of that l o l thankyou thoughb x
