Need gurgle ladies' reassurance....

Hi all...stupid post really. I fell over this morning on my way to a meeting (I am 23 +1 by the way)didn't even hurt myself, just shaken and I didn't hit the bump at all but I have cried for about half an hour and am so scared I may have hurt my baby....feel like continuing to cry! Just need reassurance to what I already know which is that babies are very resilient...xxx

BTW, you have the same due date as me :) xxx
Thanks Ladies...I have left a message for my midwife to call me just in case. I can feel the baby moving about but still so scary. And Nicmox72...yay for February babies, that is my birthday! Thanks so much for helping me out, does feel better to have your experiences. xx

Hi hun, not a stupid post at all, its really scary when you fall over. I fell in the bathroom when I was about 16 weeks. I fell on my back so didnt land on the bump but I still went to A&E to be checked over. To be honest, they were more concerned that I'd hit my head and they just said the baby would be fine as its protected in my belly. So I went to see my midwife the day after and she was brilliant, we listened to the hearbeat and she had a good feel of my belly and really reassured me. Dont be scared on your own chick, go and get yourself checked out to give yourself peace of mind xxxx

I know there is lots in there to keep baby safe, but if you are really worried pop to your GP or MW, they will put your mind at ease! x
