Iv possible PCOS

Well great news...there is nothing wrong..i dont have PO ! but nothing will be done with my absent periods. Just gotta go with it and it will happen when it happens! good luck to everyone else. x

calling the doc for my results in under an hr! realy hope she has got them by now and is going to do something about my absent periods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!x

At your first appointment they will take a history from you both - they will ask your OH for a sperm sample also. The drugs they are talking about sound like clomid. Hope it goes well xxx

Hi, I was wondering the same thing , how ever I've already had blood tests for hormon levels n they were fine so do sent me for internal scan which showed i have polycystic overies, have been referred to fertility clinic n our appointment is the 25th.Any ideas wot the next step will be? oh is coming as well do u think they will give him tests as well seeing as we know wot the problem is already. Doc said something about tablets to helpme ovulate?? Thanks xx

Age is definitely on your side. Being diagnosed in your late teens/early 20's is so important with PCOS. Did the Dr say that your blood test results indicated that you have PCOS? Many people are told they have PCOS after an ultrasound scan - but are misinformed. It is possible to have polycystic ovaries without actually having PCOS. How long have you been ttc? Once you have been ttc for 18 months your GP can refer you to the Gynae to have further testing and possible fertility treatments xxx

hya my name is joan plz try not to worry i was told same thng by my doc but he didnt do tests 2 of my friends got told same and did have it 1 friend has a lil gawjus boy of4 the other friend had 1 got told bout pcos n went on to have 2 cute kids plz dnt worry all the luck n the world for you xxxxx

My sister in law was told she would never have children when she was younger... she went 4 years without a period when she feel pregnant with her first... she now has two happy healthy little ones!!!
I have suspected PCOS and can understand your concerns... my doctor told me years ago it would just take me three times as long as anyone else... we'll see... have been trying since feb and had one very early miscarriage... had 3 months off TTC but just started trying again... fingers crossed!!!!

Its good to here all the good news, however if you dont have periods how can you get preg right? just so impressed right now that the doc doing tests straight awaw. I know some people have waited years before there doc did anything. I have only been off the pill 4months! wandering how long it will take though to get my hosp appointment through. Blood test results this thur! x
