Gurgle expert Liz Costagliola says 'Hi it sounds like your baby may have oral thrush. This is a fungal infection which is really common in new borns. It needs treating with an anti fungal suspension which you can get on prescription from your GP. If you are breast feeding, then your nipples will also need treating, so let your GP know that you are breast feeding and he will be able to prescribe you some special cream.
Hope this helps
Liz'
And take no notice of people saying bottles arent clean - even breastfed babies get thrush!
I didn't mean this in a nasty way, a friend of mine had a baby with oral thrush and the doctor said if the bottles weren't 100% clean and sterile then this can cause thrush. I didn't mean to offend littun01 and if I did then I'm sorry.

Hi Chick, my LO had thrush which sounds like what you are describing. The doctors can prescribe drops to give to take it away. Hope all is ok x
It sounds like thrush to me, is he bottle fed? If so it could be that the bottles aren't quite clean/sterile enough. Take him to the GP and see what they say x
