Hi all, we were discussing at mother and baby group today about babys sleeping through the night and wether it depends on wether they are bottle or breast fed. most people i have spoke to say their bottle fed babys sleep through the night but breast fed dont for months. both of mine are bottle fed and my 1st slept 12 hours from 4 weeks and my second actually has to be woke after 12 hours or she would sleep all day lol and this has been from 2 weeks. is your baby bottle or breast fed and when did they sleep through the night????
My boy is breastfed and has never slept for 12 hours! I can't quite remember but I think from 10/11 weeks he slept 7 til 7 waking once for a feed but now at 18 weeks he's waking more frequently. Although he's teething too so probably waking in pain from his teeth but then won't settle without a feed. I have fed him formula on a couple of occasions and he did sleep for an hour or so longer.
My baby was breast fed and slept through the night from 2 weeks and was going 7 till 7 from 8 weeks x
