hey there, im 10 weeks pregnant and was wonering if anyone has any advice on the swine flu jab as it was on the news sometime ago that 2/3 mothers to be died from contracting the swine flu and they had no under laying health problems and ive read that mothers to be are one of the first in line for the jabs, do you think they are safe? as you dont know whats being pumped into your body and im concerned how my body will react to it ect. Any advice welcome. many thanks
I've struggled with this decision for weeks now and have finally decided not to have it. I am 14 weeks pregnant and have asthma so am in the high risk category for 2 reasons. I just think it's not been tested on pregnant woman, who knows what can happen when those babies are born!! I'm going to take the chance. Once you've had the injection you can't do anything about it but you may never get swine flu and if you hopefully recovery will be 100%. I can understand why people are getting it too, it's a really hard one, definetly a personal decision. Good luck in making it!!!
There a quite a few chats on this subject already, if you type swine flu into the search box and choose chat answers you will be able to read through loads of opinions. x
