Bleeding

I had bleeding in my first pregnancy at around 13 to 14 weeks. Had a scan and everything was fine. They offered to do an internal examination which I declined as they said they still might not know the reason for the bleeding. I was scared to death but fortunately it was a one off. After all the worry I gave birth to a baby girl on her due date who is now a 5 year old who I still worry about!!

hey i had bleeds with both mine with 1st it lasted about 2 months and second only a couple of days. if its brownish blood i was told it was old blood and this is what i had for 2 months. if at any time it becomes bright red again you need to give your m/w a ring xxx

yeah i had unexplained bleeding as well, your baby is obv fine so far if heart is beating ok, only lasted about 24 hours though each time, if it lasts longer just give nhs direct or your midwife a call x

i had bleeds at early pregnecy n im fine somtimes its just jour body getting used to the change if it carrys on ring your emergency midwife.x

I went through unexplained bleeding through both of my pregnancies, with both of them it only lasted a day at a time. The first pregnancy it happened twice and the second three times. If you're still bleeding tomorrow or if you get any pains then give the maternity unit a ring back but if it stops then just try and rest and relax x

just need some advice, i'm now just over 16 weeks, and started bleeding this morning, enough to look like the start of a period, been the maternity unit, who were brill, and they did all the examination thing, and we heard the heart beat!! they said was just a unexplained bleed, been fine all this afternoon, but started bleeding again before... i've got no pain. but i'm still worried sick!! any one else been through these unexplained bleeds?? and how long should they last??
