I would have felt bad about sleeping alot earlier in my preg, but I was fast asleep so didn't really care lol! I am 24 weeks now, and tho I've got more energy, I still love a good early night or afternoon nap. Getting more energy back is relative, you do feel better than earlier on, but you thn you try to do everything you have always done, and bam, you're shattered! I think, s0d it, you're not going to get much sleep in a few months, so make the most of the land of nod now! x

i was shattered from 3pm onwards at about 9 weeks, im now 16 weeks and dont get tired till about 7pm (right now infact - yawwwn ;-) im still going to bed really early though, usually about 9.30pm and sleeping right through till 5am when im bursting for a pee!! Good thing is i wake up feeling like a new person, really bright and fresh! just enjoy it while you can, its just your body getting what it needs. you'll be thankful of it when the baby arrives! right where's my jim jams? night night xx

MissMarvel. I brought the same book for my OH and its siting on the bedside table with a few pages read LOL. x
Ive read most of it while OH has been on his XBOX and its really good pml x
i bought that book two i read it in a couple of evenings and poked it in my blokes face countless times our daughter is now 5 weeks and 2 days old and he still hasn't touched it. if he wanted to know something he just expected me to have the answer. oh well i got it off ebay for £1.50 so i didn't waste any money. i'll be selling it on ebay too.lol

Some days I cant keep my eyes open!! im 18 wks today and my energy is slowly returning but Im dead my 9!! Just sleep as and when you need it, its your body thats telling you to rest :) how far gone in yor pregnancy are you? xx
gosh i am only 9 weeks, so not that far along. its so funny that we all try so hard to become pregnant ,suppose to be the best thing in your life ,but everyone forgets to mention all the things that go with it like loss of sleep and wanting to sleep, all the aches and difficulties we have to go through, and yet we do it again and again, lol but its all worth it in the end hey. keep well girlies.

Hi Chrissypops, yes I have the same problem - he read up to page 6 and that's as far as he's got. I keep reading bits of it and I think its good and really funny. I looked at it the other day, opening the page that said Second Trimester and pointed out that that's where he should be up to by now - he's got some catching up to do! x

Huni i felt just the same and only over the past week or so (I'm 15 wks today) have I started to feel like my usual self. I said only the other day that its so nice to have the energy to do stuff rather than just feeling like I could sleep all the time. I didn't want to go out of the house some days as I just didn't have the energy. I wasn't down or anything, just knackered! I still get tired if I do too much but its a lot better. Don't be hard on yourself, its perfectly normal and it will pass. My OH asked me if it was normal and I pointed him in the direction of a book I bought him (which he has yet to read) called a Bloke's Guide to Pregnancy. Good luck hun and get plenty rest xx
