premature baby sleep pattern from hosptial

i am having a few issues with my baby, she was born 14 weeks premature (26 weeks gestation) and was in hosptial for 11 weeks, she spent most of that time in an incubator and on oxygen/tubes etc so couldnt be held as much as we'd liked. She has been home now for three weeks and has settled in very well, however the nurses said to me on the day she came home that she was a night owl, and that they had been picking her up and cuddling her in the night as she wouldn't settle otherwise. therefore now at home she will only settle at night if we let her fall alseep on us then lay her down asleep, otherwise she will cry and scream. However in the day i can lay her down and she will settle well. How can i get her to change this cycle round, as i dont want her to get used to sleeping only at night via cuddles. Its really hard as i know shes probably loving the fact that she can now have some affection.
