Had my first doc appointment today. Hubby came along.
Got onto the table and doc couldnt find the heartbeat, began to really need a wee (and a break as freaking out) so I went...came back and he tried again and low and behold a gentle whoosh whoosh whoosh!
9 weeks and 5 days! YAY!
In 2 weeks time (everything staying good) I shall be having my first scan and I cant wait!

it does feel real now...yet I still doubt hahaha! I need to see it to believe it...even though he showed me how I "sound" and then said "here is baby" and I DID hear it, I mean..I was LOUDER hahaha and baby is much quieter (currently) but I still cant quiet believe that inside me I have a baby!!!

Aw it's amazing isn't it? I think it really is a little miracle how soon there is a little heart pumping away, like a special little secret or gift : ) : ) : ) Happy days! xx
i think once you have herd the heart beat it makes it very real and you start to feel a love and connection to this living sole growing inside you. just lovely and i can wait till mine in 3 weeks,

Congratulations! It's so exciting the first time you hear the heartbeat isn't it? It makes it all feel real. Try and relax now and enjoy the pregnancy x
