I would never place a bet on the chances of becoming pregnant first time! You may – you may not – it’s a risk! The best thing for you to do may be to sit down with your husband and look at all the pros and cons of another baby so close to your twins. Why is he so keen to have another one – is there any likelihood that you could have twins again? How would that affect your lifestyle? Is your house big enough for another child – or possibly two more children? How will you manage? Is there anyone who could help you with three children under the age of two? Having children close together can work really well for some families as they are already into the baby routine and don’t have to make an effort to get back into it again. They have all the equipment and haven’t loaned it out or sold it! Loads to think about and discuss – so remember this is a decision only you and your husband can make – don’t let anyone else influence you!
hello there. your twins are gorgeous and how lucky to have one of each. if you are unsure about if you are ready then you need to speak the hubster, chances are it will take a few months to conceive but also you could fall straight away. it's not something you should do just to make him happy, it is your body and you have to be totally in it together. i can understand you having reservation, it's not to say that you don't want more babies, but you carried two just a year ago and you are probably aware that you are more likely to have twins if you have had twins before. sit down with hubby and talk about all your concerns and then you can work out a timescale that suits you both when you are both completly ready. hope i've helped sorry about rambling on :)
The hubby came home from work last week and said he thought we were ready to have another baby. I think it might be a little too soon but trying for a baby dosent mean we are going to get pregnant first time of trying does it.!? What do you think..?! Lizzie
