different milks?????? and colic???

same here!! my daughter was on sma at 1st but she kept throwing it up and got colic so i put her in cow & gate comfort and that was the same so i just tried her on cow & gate stage 1 and her colic settled down but she still was sick alot but HV told me its not really good 4 um keep changing milk so i just kept her on cow & gate stage 1 2 see if she got used 2 it and she did eventually. personally i think that cow & comfort is just a waste of money coz if its so much easier 2 digest etc etc then why wouldnt who bottle feeds use it everi1 use it???? :s same with that cow & gate bedtime milk from 6months....if it really made them sleep every1 would use it lol. its just cow & gates way of making money i think! x

My son went onto SMA gold in hospital and had a really bad time with wind and colic. A friend had the same prob with this and suggested i try aptamil which we did when he was about 3 weeks old and we've had no problems at all. Jaden has been on aptamil first since 3 weeks and is now 8.5m old and on the follow on milk. The best move we ever made! Good Luck :-)

We had alex on loads of diff ones untill aptimil and hes been fine ever since and he's almost one now(ten days)

thanx yeh i just changed her 2 aptimil yest so it mite take a week 2 settle down she seems better 2day tho, id defo start on aptimil with my next baby no one iv spoken 2 has had problems with it. xxxx

WE had Charlie on hungry baby and found him really grumpy. HV advised best not to give hungry baby till 8weeks plus as too much protein in it for a newborn,so we changed bak to normal cow ans gate stuff! He has been fine since and mood defo improved! x

i started on sma gold and it gave liam a poorly tummy as well and my midwife said sma is often quite rich for babies. i changed to aptimal and he's fine, then changed him again poor thing to aptimal hungry baby as he's a hungry horris lol xx

mine both went onto aptimil straight away and were fine.and Gracie is now on the aptimil growning up milk now she is 1 and loves it!

but my friend had loads of trouble with her little boy, alot of milks made him sick and very irritable.

have you only recently changed her milk? coz it might just be where she is ajusting to it, and may take a few days to settle into her normal bottle routine. also if she is having big bottles then sometimes they do go a bit longer. i used to give my girls a little bit of boiled water if they went too long without a bottle.

ivys 3 months she started off on s.m.a milk but she has had really sore stomachs and she has colic now. tried cow and gate comfort but now im on aptimil so hopefully this one agrees with her, did any1 have p[roblems with milk? she went 12hours the other day without a feed and midwife just said keep an eye on her and drink fluids? xx
