Hi I went to croatia about 4 years ago when it was just opening up to England after the troubles. We loved it, it was really lovely as it was quite european with no lagar louts. We went to Porec where you can get boat over to Venice for the day (which I'd def recommend if it's not peak summer and you preg - the heat is really strong mid season if you haven't been) I don't know if it's any busier in Porec now and if it's changed much but we enjoyed it then. We were lucky with our hotel too as it was lovely and the food great. What we did find when looking is that not many hotels had fresh water pools (they had sea water pools) but you can find fresh water ones if you look : ) Oh yeah and don't judge it on the airport which looks a bit like a tin shack - when we landed we thought oh no, but it was fine : D Good luck with your holiday search xx
I haven't been to either, however we had an amazing holiday in Montenegro which is just 'next door' to Croatia. We took our LO and will be going back again x
Just wondering if anyone been to either place, looking for a holiday and think places look lovely and jst wondering if any can recommend anthing!? thanks x
