I would say if it just felt tight, it was probably braxton hicks - good luck either way!
I've gone a bit nuts with the gurgle posts since I got back from hospital last night. Just got so many extra questions! When I was in hospital, they kept asking me if I was having "tightenings".. I wasn't too sure what they meant, but when I went to bed last night, across the middle of my tummy (across my belly button) I felt what I can only describe as tightenings. It wasn't painful in any way, and I only had a couple. I've had a couple today aswell... Could this be mild contractions? I'm so on edge now!! Just waiting to go into labour. I'm so ready for him to be out. Everyone seems to think I'll be early, and midwife said I'm 50% more likely to be 'cause my mum was early with both me and my sister... thanks for your patience... gurgle's turned into my little savouir past few days!! x x x
