Breastfed baby wont take bottle

My daughter is 5 months old and breastfed. However, my problem is, when I'm at uni I express milk off for her while her great gran looks after her. Anyway, my daughter refuses to take the bottle, or cup, or anything that isnt me. Its a mixture of, shes forgotten how to use it, and when she does get the nhack, she'll suck 2 or 3 times then cry again or just play about/spit it out. I often come home to hear that my LO has cried herself to sleep as she is so hungry, and have often had to leave uni to come home and feed/settler her. Its a struggle as I cant leave my daughter with anyone, even her dad for longer than 2-3 hours, as I can guarantee if I leave, soon after she is routing for food. Its myyounger brothers 18th soon, and I was hoping to maybe have a few drinks (I wont drink if Im feedin Daisy-personal preference) but I cant if she wont eat any other way than from me. Any ideas/advice? Thank you xxx

Have been trying her with the bottle since I started un again in September. She used to take the bottle fine at around 3months, now she wont even entertain it.

Hiya, I had a similar thing - when my son was 6 weeks old he had a bottle of expressed milk and he took to it ok after a couple of tries. I gave him a bottle on and off but stopped for a while and when he was 4 months tried again and he was not having any of it! I just had to try every day for about 2 weeks, and eventually he would take more and more. Then when I was ready, switched to formula. How long have you been trying to give her a bottle this time round? I also found he preferred it if I gave it to him..then when he was used to it, he would be fine with someone else doing it. Maybe speak to your health visitor? They might have more ideas if she's actually crying herself to sleep hungry etc xx

i have the same problem my daughter is 12 weeks on sunday and wont have bottle even wiv my milk so no one can take over as my mum offered to babysitt but cant! everyone says to me she will take it if shes hungry bt it dont work maybe try different teats ? xx
I have tried different teets, different bottles, a cup everything, she wont have it. She used to take it fine when she was about 3 months but now she wont entertain it. everyone said to me if she is hungry she will have it, but they have seen for themselves how she cries and cries and eventually falls to sleep as she has tired herself out with crying :( x its really upsetting, I am constantly worrying about her when I leave. I once had to leave uni 40mins after leaving home as she was hungry x
